Madison County has one Senior Center , Marshall Senior Center and seven Nutrition Sites: Mars Hill, Beech Glen, Upper laurel, Shelton Laurel, Center Community Center, Hot Springs and Spring Creek. Various activities, such as bingo, nutrition/education training, picnics, trips, group and individual exercise, walking trails, etc. are also available at each Senior Center/Nutrition Site. .

Respite Care Services
Respite Care Services offer temporary, substitute support or living arrangements for individuals age 60 years of age and older. There are no age requirements for caregivers and there are no income guidelines for this program. Contact Land of Sky (828)251-6622 for additional information.
In-Home Services
In-Home Services are provided to help individuals 60 years of age and older, stay home when they are unable to care for themselves, when there are no responsible persons available to help them, or when relatives need assistance in providing care. Exercise and Fitness The Marshall Senior Center has exercise equipment for senior's 60+ to use FREE of charge. Drop-in: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. Spring Creek and Hot Springs have exercise equipment for senior's 60+ to use FREE of charge. Drop-in: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9-1pm.
